Can I just use crystals for EMF protection rather than orgonite?

Yes you can; however, clear and translucent crystals such as Quartz family members, Selenite, Calcite and other silicate crystals are amplifiers. Placing these types of crystals near electronic devices will amplify EMFs, not neutralise and harmonise them. Dark opaque crystals high in copper, iron or carbon such as Shungite, Magnetite, Haematite and Malachite are far more effective for absorbing and harmonising EMFs. However, they will need very regular cleansing when used for this purpose. Orgonite, by comparison, is said to be self-cleansing and considered by many to be far more effective when made properly with an intelligently designed combination of components.
