Named after Archangel Metatron, the angel of empowerment, Metatron's cube is a potent symbol within sacred geometry.
Metatron's cube is based on the shape of the hexagon, and is a 2 dimensional representation of each of the platonic solids - 3 dimensional geometric shapes which are at the heart of all matter, and are blueprints for atomic, molecular, and crystalline structures.
Thus this powerful symbol encompasses the totality of creation in the 3 dimensional universe, no matter how great or how insignificant, and the process of manifestation on the physical and energetic planes.
