This is a beautiful cluster combin ing both Yellow and White Calcite crystals.

Calcite is a remarkable crystal. At the molecular level it has a Rhombohedral crystal structure, which can grow into a wide range of crystalline structures. Much of the Calcite available is in either tumbled or rough "massive" form where the crystal grows in large amorphous masses with no particular crystallised shape. Whilst these crystals have their place, they do not produce the same energies as the vast array of complex crystal habits Calcite is capable of growing into.  

This particular specimen has a variety of prismatic and rhombohedral habits in both Clear/White and Yellow Calcite
