AZURITE • Crystal Healing Properties/Meaning

Azurite is a Guardian Builder crystal. In the spiritual world, Guardian crystals have special uses. They serve to guard your beliefs against doubt. Azurite is a soft stone, named for its deep “azure blue” colour. It is a copper carbonate mineral found in the upper oxidized portions of copper ore formed in masses, nodules, tabular or prismatic crystals, sometimes with a vitreous lustre. The saturated colour ranges from bright to deep blue into shades of indigo, and may contain streaks of light blue. The high copper content of Azurite makes it an exceptionally powerful conductor of energy.

Famed as the most precious stone of the Ancient Egyptian Gods, Azurite is the most potent psychic stone and was shrouded in mystery; its secrets known only to the highest priests and priestesses of Atlantis and Ancient Egypt (known then as Khem, the root of Chemistry, and Alchemy), and it’s use was forbidden to anyone who had not achieved the high state of consciousness required for such a title. It was called the Stone of Heaven by the ancient Chinese who believed it to open celestial gateways, and was revered by Greeks and Romans for its visionary insights and healing powers.
